This annual publication, beginning in 1985, provides literature reviews on a wide, diverse array of topics of interest to the higher education scholarly and policy communities. Each yearly volume contains chapters which provide a review of research findings on a topic, critiques of the research literature, and sets forth an agenda for future research. The series attracts contributions from scholars throughout the world.
