JSTOR is an online database wherein you can locate book reviews. There are several ways to search for book reviews in this database, but here's directions for the simplest way. Follow the steps below.
STEP 1: Access JSTOR here:
You will be asked to login with your SFA username and password.
STEP 2: Once in the database, click on the Advanced Search button.
STEP 3: On the Advanced Search screen, type in the title of a book with quotation marks. Leave the adjacent dropdown menu at Full-Text. Here's an example using the book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll.
STEP 4: Below the search fields, look for the section Narrow By. Click the item type labeled Reviews. Then, click the Search button.
STEP 5: Search results should appear. Note that not every entry will be relevant to what you want; that's the nature of research. You'll need to skim through the results to find the entries that you can use.
